This guide is the way to Beleth: what you need, the road in, and the rules on the way. For the fight itself (skills, weaknesses and drops), see Beleth.

The road costs a party member. The member the leader offers dies on the spot and cannot enter Beleth's lair for 24 hours. Choose someone who can sit this one out.

How to enter

StepWhat to doCost
1Talk to the Global Gatekeeper in any town, press Teleport to another Town and choose Rune Township. Skip this step if you are already in Rune.120,000 Adena
2Walk west out of Rune to Triol's Mirror, the entrance of the Pagan Temple, which stands outside the town.-
3Talk to Triol's Mirror and choose Use The Gatekeeper. It puts you inside the temple, in front of the Temple Gate.-
4The party leader talks to the Temple Gatekeeper statue beside the gate, chooses Offer a member of your party, then picks the member. The member dies, the gate opens and Benom wakes on the Altar of Sacrifice. The gate only stays open for a few seconds, so go through together.1 party member
5Cross the temple to the sanctuary gate. The Temple Gatekeeper statue in front of it opens it for you while Benom is awake.-
6Go on to the Altar of Sacrifice at the far end. Benom waits on the raised altar. Climb to it through the flame gates in its two back corners. They stay open while Benom is awake.-
7Kill Benom (level 81 raid boss).-
8A Gatekeeper Ziggurat appears on the altar for 15 minutes. Talk to it and choose Step through to enter Beleth's lair.-

The offering

  • Only a party leader can make it, and only while Beleth is in her lair.
  • The member offered must be another member of the party, alive, level 76 or higher, standing near the statue, and not offered in the last 24 hours.
  • The member dies on the spot. This death costs no experience and drops nothing.
  • For the next 24 hours, that player cannot use the Ziggurat, and is sent back to Rune if they reach Beleth's lair any other way. The Ziggurat shows how long is left.
  • While Benom is awake, or his Ziggurat still stands, no new offering is needed or accepted. The temple gatekeepers then open their gates for anyone, and anyone can walk to the altar.
  • If nobody damages Benom for 15 minutes, he falls back asleep, and the next group needs a new offering.

Rules inside the lair

  • One character per PC. A second character from the same PC is sent to Giran.
  • 18 players per clan and 18 per alliance (2 parties) inside epic boss zones. Anyone over the limit is sent to Giran.
  • It is a PvP zone. Players can attack each other there without getting karma.
  • You cannot log out or restart inside the lair.
  • Mounts are dismounted, and Summon Friend does not work inside.

Leaving the lair

When Beleth dies, her clones vanish and a Gatekeeper Ziggurat appears in the lair for 15 minutes. Talk to it to leave; it sends you to Rune Township.
