The Abandoned Coal Mines are a farm zone on three levels. The coal creatures fill the lower halls, the undead miners work everywhere, and the strongest monsters, the Coal Kariks and Coal Horrors, wait on the upper level. Every monster drops Coal, more the stronger it is, and every one of them is aggressive except the fairy.

Seal Stones: a few hundred to a thousand Blue Seal Stones from the coal creatures, up to about 6,500 from a Coal Horror and 5,300 from a Coal Banshee. A Talisman of Abundance adds to them. The Dusk Priestess (Seal Stones Trader) in the towns turns them into Ancient Adena (I want to contribute the Seal Stones.): 3 per Blue, 5 per Green and 10 per Red Seal Stone.
Treasure Chests
A box and a mimic wait in each chest spot among the monsters and come back 9 minutes after they are gone. Only Unlock (Treasure Hunter, Plains Walker, Abyss Walker and their third classes) opens a box: a failed Unlock or a normal hit makes it explode and vanish. A mimic is a monster, so kill it. Boxes and mimics drop the same loot, and every line is rolled on its own.

| 100% | 180 - 330 | |
| 20% | 1 - 3 (from Chronicle 5) | |
