The client updates automatically when you run l2.exe — no separate updater needed.

Valkyria uses a modified client compatible with protocol 216. Standard retail Interlude versions are not supported.

After downloading, extract the files to your hard drive (preferably to C:\Lineage II) using WinRAR. WinRAR Download.
Run l2.exe from your Lineage II folder. If an update is needed, it applies automatically before launch. Please read our in-game rules before playing. Client modifications are not allowed without staff permission.
This is a false positive. Our files are encrypted. Add the Lineage II folder to your antivirus exclusions list.
