Master Goldian has a vision from the Valkyria: Death Lord Shax, a warrior who refused to die, must fall. Kill him and you earn the tome for the Blessing of Valkyria passive skill.
Step 1 — Accept
Talk to Master Goldian in Giran, open his Blessing of Valkyria page and accept the quest. His copy in the hunting zones offers the same quest.
Step 2 — Death Lord Shax
Shax is a level 80 raid boss deep in the Abandoned Coal Mines. Check whether he is alive in the Raid Boss tab (Alt+B). Bring a party.
When Shax dies, the quest ends at once. There is no need to walk back to Goldian. Every party member on the quest who is close to the kill gets:
| Reward | Amount |
|---|---|
 Sacred Tome - Blessing of Valkyria | 1 |
The skill
| Skill | Type | Effect |
|---|---|---|
 Blessing of Valkyria | Passive | P. Atk +15%, M. Atk +20%, P. Def +5%, M. Def +5%, Speed +5, Accuracy +3, HP and MP regeneration +5% |
The tome cannot be traded, dropped or stored, and each character can do the quest only once.
