Game rules

This server was created by a group of passionate elite players who truly love the game. Our goal is to maintain and support this project for as many years as possible, while building a healthy and enjoyable community.
As real life comes first, we commit to dedicating our available free time to server maintenance and assisting players. For efficiency and fairness, all communication will be handled exclusively through our ticketing system.

Much of the server content has been thoroughly tested, but as you know, the database is vast and full of possibilities. We kindly ask you to report any bugs you encounter.
We promise to fix everything within our reach—and go beyond when needed. If necessary, we’ll investigate issues in depth to ensure the server becomes as polished and stable as possible.

  1. Account usage

    1. Dualboxing is restricted. As a core measure, we allow a maximum of 2 active clients per player. Any attempt to open a third client will be automatically blocked.
      1. If multiple players share the same household or internet connection, you must contact us to request a special exemption. We can grant a License that allows more than two clients from the same IP. However, be aware that licensed accounts will be subject to additional random checks to prevent abuse.
      2. Owning multiple accounts is not prohibited, but you may only actively play on up to two clients at the same time. The only exception is using one offline shop while actively playing on another account.
      3. While we understand that running multiple clients can be convenient for solo farming or progression, this practice undermines the role of support classes such as buffers and crafters. Our system is designed to promote a fair and healthy in-game economy and community, where cooperation matters.
    2. Bots or third-party software are not allowed.
      1. The use of any third-party programs, especially hacking and bot programs that alter the normal use and enjoyment of the game will lead to a permanent ban.
      2. The usage of virtual machines, remote desktop applications, multiple computers, etc. to attempt to bypass the launcher, and control more than one character, as well as any attempt to bypass the official Lineage2Arc launcher is strictly forbidden and will lead to the permanent ban of all the accounts involved.
      3. Furthermore, ANY mechanism (including macro /nexttarget combinations, programmable keyboards/mouse, shortcut macro recording software etc.) that allows you to farm in an automated manner (ie. killing mobs while the player is away from the keyboard), or any kind of interaction with the game is strictly forbidden and will lead to a permanent ban of the account. A player isn't supposed to earn experience or drops if the user is not on the keyboard and playing.
      4. Any unauthorized client-side changes to attempt to bypass our launcher, hack game settings, etc. is strictly forbidden and will lead to a permanent ban of the account.
      5. Special mention about the importance of not leaving your account to anyone. Do it at your own risk but you are ultimately responsible for what happens to the account. This means that if anyone logs into your account with any illegal software the account will be banned. Needless to say that the staff will not get involved if one day you find your character naked because you trusted the wrong person.

  2. Gameplay

    1. You must report bugs and exploits, otherwise, there will be a permanent ban at our own discretion.
    2. Selling anything for real money is not allowed.
    3. If you plan on leaving the server you must do it quietly. Expressions like "I'm leaving the server", "Free items" etc will get your account banned.
    4. Impersonating any staff member will lead to a permanent ban.
    5. You can only get support by opening a ticket. Asking for a Game Master in the game, Discord, or forum is forbidden.
    6. You can only report a bug or a player by opening a support ticket. If you publicly report a player he/she will try to hide his/her actions. If you publicly report a bug some players might try to find any exploits.

  3. Code of conduct

    1. Not knowing the law does not allow you not to obey it. It’s your responsibility to read the rules.
    2. Players are expected to treat other players with respect and conduct themselves in an appropriate manner while playing the game.The game is intended for all people above 12 years old, hence all types of behavior and/or content such as but not limited to profanity, pornography, extreme politics, xenophobia, unlawful behavior, and substances are prohibited.
      Examples:
      It is allowed:
      • To call a player a noob (novice) and similar respectful taunts

      It is forbidden:
      • to violate or harm other players physically or mentally.
      • to name your alliance with offensive or inappropriate terms.
      • to glorify terrorist acts or persons.
      • to insult players via the in-game communication system.
      • to post advertisement links and referrer-links.
      • to discriminate against players based on, but not limited to their origins, race, religion, creed, sex, disability, age or any relevant category.
    3. Any comment questioning staff’s or server’s integrity, either directly or subtly, without any kind of proof, will be considered a severe fault and can lead to a permanent ban at our own discretion. We may be blamed for having hundreds of bugs, and that’s fair, but if we pride ourselves here on something is about not being corrupt, and it hurts our hearts every time this happens because we have put a lot of enthusiasm and effort into this project to let people try to ruin it for something like that. Therefore we take that kind of accusation very seriously.
    4. Using a private store to scam by selling an item for an unusual price or using the wrong text in the store's description is prohibited and the punishments range from jail to a permanent ban.
    5. Private conversations via discord and other means may not be exposed in public media at the discretion of the staff member.
    6. SPAM of other servers in the forum/discord/in-game will lead to a permanent ban on the in-game account.
    7. We reserve the right to request a player to change his name if considered inappropriate/offensive/reserved for GMs etc. The character will be notified and allowed to choose a new name free of charge and there will be no further actions. If a player refuses to cooperate the staff may rename the character at his own criteria, as well as apply the corresponding punishment which will depend on the player’s behavior and can range from ban chat to account ban.
    8. Respect towards players and our team is important and taken for granted. The purpose of the server is for you to play and have fun. Whether it's farming or pvp you all have to find your place without disrespecting others. There will be penalties for those who do not respect this and serious or repeated offenses will result in a ban.

  4. Languages

    1. The L2Valkyria server is an International server. Player or alliance profiles must be written in English or have an English translation of any text. Private communications, including alliance communications, are allowed to be in any language.
    2. It is forbidden to refuse to allow a player entry to an alliance based on his/her nationality.

  5. Donations

    1. Donations are necessary for the long-term functioning of the server but, let’s remember that this is a gamer community of and for players and donating is a collaboration, not a purchase, by which you are not entitled to more privileges or any other position than knowing that you are collaborating to give life to the server.

  6. Sharing means of connection

    1. If a “Licensed Player” (especially if it is a healer or a tank) is in a party with another character of the same IP, he is NOT ALLOWED to put “auto-follow” and go away from the computer.
    2. Antibot/Captcha will be randomly shown to “Licensed players” when in a party more often than common players and with a reduced maximum response time.
    3. If one of the “Licensed Players” is caught in a party away from the computer while farming, BOTH accounts will be punished.
    4. The immediate punishment for “Licensed Players” caught afk is the automated temporary jail. Incidents will be recorded and can lead to a direct permanent ban at our own discretion. Repeated afk behavior will lead to a permanent ban on BOTH accounts.
    5. We appreciate some might think these rules are not fair, but we remind you that dualbox is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN on this server. If you want to play together with family/friends under the same IP, that’s perfectly fine, the only restriction we have is that none of the players can be away while farming.
    6. A GM might randomly whisp “Licensed players” at the same time and if he doesn’t get an immediate response he might jail or ban both accounts at his own discretion.
    7. If you agree with the above rules and meet the criteria, you can request a special license by opening a support ticket.
